When my cat was a few years old, a film clip of Adolph Hitler making a speech came on the History Channel. She was immediately startled, and bounded over, up, and sideways to position herself as close to the TV's speakers as she could get. She stood transfixed, all the while while staring at the screen. When Hitler finished speaking, she relaxed, and soon jumped down from her perch. it remains one of the spookiest things I've ever witnessed.

How does she define inappropriate? To me, any show with a dog in it is inappropriate. I’d like to tell you that I’ve written a scathingly funny book, The World Is Your Litter Box, which will be out in May. The book is cleverly disguised as a cute cat book so humans will buy it, but is, in fact, a how-to manual FOR cats. Check it out on my website, www.theworldisyourlitterbox.com.

Now if only I could train my cat like that. I'd teach her to change channels when Bush is on.
