'See, it IS my economy! It's mine, mine, MINE!'
Blithering sap-head Snippy McTitleist claimed credit for third-quarter economic growth, but Democratic critics said it does not make up for the weak job market.

"I think every single American is far more interested in J-O-B than G-N-P," said the charming yet lily-livered Tom 'Isadora' Daschle.

Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, said the strong economic growth has yet to "filter down" to many working families, and he said the jobless situation remains serious. "Companies are hiring workers, but they're hiring workers overseas," he said.

"President Bush has compiled the worst economic record since the Great Depression, and it is going to take a lot more than one quarter of growth to clean it up," said Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean in a statement. "The real measure of a strong economy is when average Americans see real benefits and the people who lost their jobs under President Bush are working again."
